Dale Farm is in the gorgeous Peak District, less than a mile away from Monsal Head and the Monsal Trail. This rural campsite offers picturesque views and is perfect for a quiet escape to the countryside. We offer pitches to accommodate most campers and we even have 2 fully kitted bell tents to use if you want a holiday without worrying about your own tents or motorhome.

Prepare for: When booking your trip please bear in mind that this is a working farm, so be prepared for the animals to give you a warm, loud welcome! Basic WiFi is provided in the cost, however if you would like a faster connection, the premium access comes with a small price per day.
Rules:
Amplified music is not permitted at any time, acoustic music is allowed between 7am and 10pm provided it is relaxing and played well. We ask our guests to be extra quiet between 10pm-7am. During this time no vehicle movement is permitted. If you need to leave for an emergency please leave your vehicle in the village on return. Dogs are allowed, providing they are kept on a lead at all times. Dogs must be well-behaved (ie. not too much barking) and suitable to a farm environment where there are sheep, horses and cows in nearby fields. Badly behaved dogs or loose dogs may be asked to leave the site for the health and safety of our other guests. Fires are allowed, but there are strict conditions. Fires must be in a fire pit, raised off the ground by legs at least 40cm long. Do not take wood from around the farm or surrounding area, anyone seen doing so will be asked to leave. Anyone found to have scorched/killed the grass will be fined. We do not allow disposable BBQS to be used on site. Visitors are not permitted on site at any time. Our site is exclusively for the use of paying guests only. If you would like to add your visitors to your booking this will be at a cost of £10pppd. Pitches and hired accommodation are available from 3pm. Strictly no arrivals before 3pm without prior arrangement. Unplanned early arrivals are subject to a minimum £10 fee. We kindly ask that you vacate your pitch by 11am returning any rented items such as firepits to the collection area. No group bookings. Anyone booking as a group and not declaring this may be asked to leave.
Public transport: Bus Stop on Butts Road, Less than 10 minutes walk.
Nearby shops and eateries: We sell local produce in our own farm shop! Local pubs and shops are on Main Street. 10 minute walk, 2 minute drive.
