Come and experience camping amidst the finest nature of Glencoe! The river flows alongside much of the campsite, which brings in more wildlife and a calming ambience. Fishing permits are for sale at £10 for 5 hours, daytime only. The views of the surrounding mountains are breathtaking and you won't be short of fantastic walks and nature experiences in this wild part of the highlands.

A word from the host: Come and visit this wild campsite that's been thriving since 1914!

Prepare for: It would be wise to prepare insect repellent for the midges in summer. We allow wild deer, ducks, foxes woodpeckers as well as some livestock etc to wander the campsite freely. We think this adds to the experience, please be prepared to respect these animals and enjoy their company; it is their home after all!

Rules Rules:

We unfortunately can't accommodate motorhomes this 2022 season. Caravans are welcome for overnight stays. Dogs must be well behaved and kept under control as this is a livestock area with wild animals freely wandering the campsite. Campfires are welcome in our designated firepits, or your own if kept safely off the grass. Firewood is available to buy on site. All fires must be out by 11pm. Please leave toilets and showers in good condition. Please contact us about booking a large group. We check every car and tent at night for your safety!

Public transport: Bus and coach services along the A82 through Glencoe.

Nearby shops and eateries: Glencoe village about 1.5 miles away has limited shops and a cafe, another mile west along the loch, Ballachulish has a supermarket and restaurants.
