This gem of a campsite in the Peak District National Park is a back to basics camping experience where you can enjoy amazing scenery in peace, and easy reach of the area's activities. There are many circular trails from nearby Tideswell, and the Monsal Trail is only five minutes away. There are activities centres for caving, climbing, and horse riding nearby, as well as places to visit such as Bakewell, the Chatsworth Estate, and plenty of local pubs! Or if you just want some peace and quiet, the campsite itself has plenty of room to make yourself at home beside a fire.

Prepare for: Guests are advised to bring a good quality torch with them as parts of the site are unlit. There is no reception on-site: on arrival please contact the number provided on your booking confirmation.
Rules:
This is a quiet site: no music is allowed. The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro) and/or any of the following: Staffordshire bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Rottweiler, any Mastiff or Tosa. No hen/stag parties permitted via online booking. At least one of the party members must be aged 25 or over. Group bookings of 4 or more adults are not permitted (couples and immediate family members excepted). Your dog must be tattooed or microchipped. Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians. The site caters for families (immediate members) and couples only - bookings from all other forms of groups are not accepted. Commercial vehicles (vehicles used for work-related purposes, carrying goods or fare-paying passengers) and sign-written vehicles are not permitted on site. Please note that the toilet/shower facilities are unisex.
