These terms and conditions govern the use of www.lazycamp.co.uk (the "Site"). This Site is owned and operated by Lazy Camp Ltd a company registered in England and wales under company number 12570462, with a registered office at 20 Tudor Road, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9 2HB “Lazy Camp”. This Site is an ecommerce website and Lazy Camp acts as a booking agent for campsites and other services providers advertised on its website.

These terms and conditions and our privacy policy are collectively known as (the “Terms”) and you expressly consent and agree to be bound by the Terms and all applicable laws and regulations that govern the Site and your booking.

Intellectual Property
All content published and made available on our Site is the property of Lazy Camp. This includes, but is not limited to images, text, logos, graphics, designs, documents, downloadable files and anything that contributes to the composition of our Site.

Acceptable Use and Contributions
As a condition of using our Site, you warrant that all information you supply is true, accurate, current and complete. Furthermore, that you will safeguard your account information including your password. You warrant that you are 18 years or above and that you have the relevant authority to enter into this agreement.

You agree to use our Site legally, not to use our Site for illegal purposes, and not to:

  • Harass or mistreat other users of our Site;
  • Violate the rights of other users of our Site;
  • Violate the intellectual property rights of the Site owners or any third party to the Site;
  • Hack into the account of another user of the Site;
  • Act in any way that could be considered fraudulent; or
  • Post any material that may be deemed inappropriate or offensive.

If we believe you are using our Site illegally or in a manner that violates these Terms, we reserve the right to limit, suspend or terminate your access to our Site. We also reserve the right to take any legal steps necessary to prevent you from accessing our Site.

Users may post the following information on our Site:

  • Items for sale;
  • Photos; and
  • Services and goods.

By posting publicly on our Site, you agree not to act illegally or violate these Terms.

Accounts
When you create an account on our Site, you agree to the following:

  1. You are solely responsible for your account and the security and privacy of your account, including passwords or sensitive information attached to that account; and
  2. All personal information you provide to us through your account is up to date, accurate, and truthful and that you will update your personal information if it changes.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you are using our Site illegally or if you violate these Terms.

Sale of Services
These Terms govern the sale of services available on our site.

The following services are available on our site.

  • Overnight booking for camping and lodgings.
  • Event bookings
  • Third Party Goods and Services
    Our Site may offer goods and services from third parties. We cannot guarantee the quality or accuracy of goods and services made available by third parties on our Site.
  • User Goods and Services
    Our Site allows users to sell goods and services. We do not assume any responsibility for the goods and services users sell on our Site. We cannot guarantee the quality or accuracy of any goods and services sold by users on our Site. However, if we are made aware that a user is violating these Terms, we reserve the right to suspend or prohibit the user from selling goods and services on our Site.

Payments
We accept the following payment methods on our Site:

  • PayPal; and
  • Debit.
  • Googlepay
  • Applepay

When you provide us with your payment information, you authorise our use of and access to the payment instrument you have chosen to use. By providing us with your payment information, you authorise us to charge the amount due to this payment instrument.

If we believe your payment has violated any law or these Terms, we reserve the right to cancel or reverse your transaction.

Confirmation
If you are a customer living in the United Kingdom or the Eurpoean Union you have the right to cancel your contract to purchase services from us within 14 days without giving notice. The cancellation period:

To confirm a booking, you must be authorised to make the booking by all persons named on the booking and their parent or guardian for all party members who are under 18 when the booking is made. By making the booking, you are confirming that all persons named on the booking accept the Terms and you will inform the other persons named on the booking of the confirmation details and any other appropriate information. By making the booking you also become responsible for making all payments due under the booking.

Lazycamp.co.uk will confirm your booking and issue you with an email confirmation. If you do not receive a confirmation email within 24 hours of your booking, please contact info@lazycamp.co.uk.

Depending on the campsite you book, either:

  1. Lazycamp.co.uk or the campsite/other service provider with which you enter into a contract will take payment.
  2. Lazycamp.co.uk will deduct a deposit from your chosen payment method, with any balance remaining to be paid direct to the campsite or other service provider with which you enter into the contract.

In the event that you call Lazycamp.co.uk by telephone, or are called by Lazycamp.co.uk about your booking, calls may be recorded for monitoring and training purposes. Lazycamp.co.uk reserves the right to review any call information.

Cancelling or amending a booking
If you wish to modify or cancel your booking prior to your arrival date, usually you will need to contact the campsite provider direct. If you have a user account with us, you may be able to cancel your booking via your user dashboard.

If you cancel or amend your booking, you will forfeit your deposit and there may be a cancellation charge or amendment fee levied by the accommodation or other service provider. In any event, if you fail to cancel or amend your booking in accordance with the provider’s cancellation or amendment policy, you may be charged a cancellation or amendment fee by the accommodation or other service provider. Further details of the cancellation policy are set out in our email to you confirming your booking and are also shown on the campsite's detail page prior to you making a booking.

If, for whatever reason, you do not turn up on the arrival date stated on your booking confirmation email, without prior warning to Lazycamp.co.uk (“a no show”), this shall be considered a cancellation.

Extras
Requests for extras will be subject to availability and if the accommodation is unable to meet any such request, Lazycamp.co.uk will have no liability to you in this respect.

Consumer Protection Law
Where the Sale of Goods Act 1979, the Consumer Rights Act 2015, or any other consumer protection legislation in your jurisdiction applies and cannot be excluded, these Terms and Conditions will not limit your legal rights and remedies under that legislation. These Terms and Conditions will be read subject to the mandatory provisions of that legislation. If there is a conflict between these Terms and Conditions and that legislation, the mandatory provisions of the legislation will apply.

Limitation of Liability
Lazy Camp directors, officers, agents, employees, subsidiaries, and affiliates will not be liable for the availability and/or accuracy of the description of goods or services advertised by a user of our Site. Nor will the above be liable for damages or losses incurred by you in travelling to any particular destination, or any failure by you to comply with the requirements of any third party.

Indemnity
Except where prohibited by law, by using this Site you indemnify and hold harmless Samantha Gore-Lyons and our directors, officers, agents, employees, subsidiaries, and affiliates from any actions, claims, losses, damages, liabilities and expenses including legal fees arising out of your use of our Site or your violation of these Terms and Conditions.

Applicable Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Dispute Resolution
Subject to any exceptions specified in these Terms, if you and Lazy Camp are unable to resolve any dispute through informal discussion, then you should email info@lazycamp.co.uk to make a formal complaint which will be responded to within 10 working days.

Notwithstanding any other provision in these Terms and Conditions, you and Lazy Camp agree that you both retain the right to bring an action in small claims court and to bring an action for injunctive relief or intellectual property infringement.

Severability
If at any time any of the provisions set forth in these Terms and Conditions are found to be inconsistent or invalid under applicable laws, those provisions will be deemed void and will be removed from these Terms and Conditions. All other provisions will not be affected by the removal and the rest of these Terms and Conditions will still be considered valid.

Changes
These Terms and Conditions may be amended from time to time in order to maintain compliance with the law and to reflect any changes to the way we operate our Site and the way we expect users to behave on our Site. We will notify users by email of changes to these Terms and Conditions or post a notice on our Site.
