Packhorse Farm is situated in the heart of Derbyshire, on a 50 acre farm. It is Located only 3.5 miles from the beautiful Victorian town of Matlock and is close by to local attractions like Chatsworth House and the Crich Tramway Museum. We also have 2 camping pods that are fully heated and double glazed, that sleep up to 4, perfect for if you want a peaceful get away without the hassle of setting up a tent or motor home.

Prepare for: Packhorse farm is a popular site, so when booking remember to prepare for other campers, families and groups during your stay. This site is quite secluded, so a lot of the local pubs and attractions are a long walk to reach. It would be best to make sure you have enough fuel before you arrive to be able to visit everything you want to, if you are not up for a long walk.

Rules Rules:

Campers arrival time is 1pm onwards and departure is 12noon. Campers must leave the site by 12 noon on vacation day, unless permission is given for an extended stay, which would be chargeable. Camping Pod arrival time is 2pm onwards and departure is 10am. This is to allow for cleaning. Visitors must leave the site by 10am on vacation day, unless permission is given for an extended stay, which would be chargeable. Anyone found to be causing malicious damage to any part of the campsite or farm would be asked to leave immediately with no refund on fees paid. All visitors must report to reception before going onto the site. Any day visitors must be agreed by prior arrangement with the owners. Large vans must be approved on booking.
