Prepare for: The tent areas are not lit to avoid light pollution, so an emergency light source of your own is worth having if you need to get up in the dark for whatever reason.
Rules:
One sleeping accommodation per pitch. No Sunday arrivals. Quiet between 10pm and 8am. Children under 7 must be accompanied by and adult at the facilities. Dogs must be on a lead at all times. Campfires and BBQs must be 3 metres away from accommodations, raised 30cm off the grass and use provided grass protectors. Do not use fallen wood from around the site as fuel. Fire pits and BBQs are available for hire with everything required. 5mph speed limit.
Public transport: A bus stop at Peters Hill just north of the site at the road junction connects to several local bus services.
Nearby shops and eateries: There is a Co-op and various eateries about 1.5 miles west, in St Stephen. Many more are a bit further east in St Austell.
