Smithy Fields Campsite is an adult only site, located in the quaint town of Alstonfield. This naturally picturesque Village looks over the Valley between Dovedale and Wolfescote Dale. This is a small site so perfect for a quiet, peaceful get away.
A word from the host: A quiet place to get away from it all, each pitch enclosed in lovely hedges for that secluded garden feel.
Prepare for: This is a small site so its likely that you'll pitch up near to other campers. Before arriving, be sure to stock up on food and water, as there are no nearby shops to use.
Rules:
Arrival is 2pm onwards and departure is no later than 12pm. We do not accept tents over 7m. Noise must be kept to a minimum at all times especially after 10pm. All dogs must be kept on a lead, including well behaved ones. We have sheep in neighbouring fields and not all visitors are dog lovers. All BBQs must be raised off the ground, if you need bricks please ask us!. Anyone caught with fires or BBQ's on the grass will be asked to leave. We do not allow day visitors, we are a small site and our facilities are only for the use of paying guests. There are plenty of local pubs to meet and socialise with friends. No under 18's allowed on our touring pitches.
